Angie Hollis
Vice President of Clinical Operations
AseraCare Hospice and Home Health
Angie Hollis-Sells is Vice President of Clinical Operations for
AseraCare Hospice and Home Health. She joined AseraCare in 2004 as
Transitional Clinical Operations Director during AseraCare's
acquisition of her former employer, Hospice USA, LLC. Ms.
Hollis-Sells' other positions at AseraCare included serving as
Interim Director of Operations and a successful stint as National
Director of Professional Services, before being promoted to her
current position in 2006.
Ms. Hollis-Sells worked as a missionary nurse in Ghana, West
Africa. Shortly afterward, she chose to focus her talents on adult
hospice services. Her positions at Hospice USA, LLC included
serving as a Case Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Director of Staff
Development and Director of Clinical Operations.
Earlier in her 30-year nursing career, Ms. Hollis-Sells held
various positions with increasing responsibility in neonatal
intensive care nursing, staff development, administration,
bereavement and hospice care coordination in large hospital systems
in Memphis, Tennessee and Mobile, Alabama.
She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and serves
on the Standards Committee for the National Hospice and Palliative
Care Organization. Ms. Hollis-Sells earned a nursing diploma from
the joint nursing program at the Memphis-based Methodist Hospital
School of Nursing and the University of Memphis.
